We’re really pleased to be featured in our local media, the News And Star newspaper. Hand on Heart is a Cumbrian company, so having our local media’s support is absolutely fantastic.
The article is about the rise in demand for our memorial jewellery, especially our bespoke pieces made from cremation ashes. A fact that our customers might find interesting is that our fantastic team have created more than 250,000 unique pieces of jewellery over the last twelve years – isn’t that incredible? It’s a testament to the hard work of our entire team, and we’re so proud of the work they do here at our beautiful Cumbria studio.
Speaking to the newspaper, our managing director, Amanda Dixon, said: “We’re pleased to see that the word is spreading about memorial jewellery. It’s incredibly rewarding to hear feedback from customers who say that the jewellery has helped them through their grief. As a team, we’re proud that we can offer comfort during a difficult time in their lives and help them treasure the memories of their loved ones.”
Amanda’s quote sums it up perfectly, as we’re all so pleased to see that word is spreading about memorial jewellery. There’s no doubt it’s growing in popularity, as more and more people look at beautiful and meaningful ways to remember a loved one.
We have many customers who didn’t realise that cremation ashes jewellery was a possibility, or who had never heard of handwriting jewellery, or that we can create pieces using true fingerprints and handprints. So, we hope that this brilliant article helps spread the word about the work we’re doing further.
Another reason why we’re proud of the article is that it highlights how we’re a British business, with our jewellery designed and handmade in our lovely Penrith studio. We know that this resonates with customers who like to support small businesses based here in the UK, so it’s great that they’ve shone a light on this in the article too.
