Children develop fingerprints at different stages. For this reason, we recommend fingerprint jewellery using prints taken from children over the age of 12 months, as older babies, children and adults typically have more defined fingerprints.

For babies under 12 months, we recommend our handprint and footprint jewellery, which captures these details more clearly at an earlier age.

Ordering Fingerprint Jewellery is easy with our streamlined process. Start by personalising your design via our available options. You can provide prints using a printing kit we'll send you, use existing prints you might have, or even use prints from a previous order you may have placed.

Once you have placed your order and have your prints ready, simply snap a photo of them and head to our Magic Print Uploader Here.
If you have chosen to include Handwriting on your design, you can upload a photograph of the writing you'd like to use to our Print Uploader with your Fingerprint image. Remember to keep your order number handy, which is available in your Order Confirmation Email.

When you place an order with us, we reserve a design slot to create your unique handcrafted piece. To keep everything on track, we typically need your prints within 8-12 days (or 28 days for international orders). If you’re unable to send them within this time, don’t worry—you have up to 12 weeks to provide them. However, this will extend your delivery timeframe up to 6 weeks from when we receive your prints. We’ve made it easy to do – just choose the option to include a photograph from the product menu and upload your chosen image. Please note that all photos will be converted to black and white and cropped to square.

If you prefer not to add a photograph, don't worry; your jewellery will still arrive in a lovely Hand on Heart Jewellery gift box.

This design comes with a Lifetime No-Fade Guarantee, which means that if the prints or text fade due to a fault with the piece, we will repair or remake it free of charge.

All chains and additional elements are covered by a one-year guarantee.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover general wear and tear, including scratching, surface marks, or damage caused by wearing your jewellery alongside other pieces, as this can lead to metal-on-metal contact over time.

We strongly recommend checking your jewellery regularly for signs of wear and following our care instructions carefully to help preserve the beauty and longevity of your piece.

Leather is a natural material that requires extra care to maintain its best appearance. To keep your leather jewellery looking its best, follow these guidelines:

Do:
- Keep your leather jewellery out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat.
- Avoid contact with chemicals such as perfume and body lotion.
- Regularly check the fixings and fittings to ensure they are functioning correctly and are not damaged.

Don't:
- Wear your leather jewellery while exercising or performing manual work; remember to remove it first.
- Expose your leather jewellery to water. Water can cause the natural dye to run and weaken the leather. If your bracelet does get wet, gently wipe it with a dry, non-abrasive cloth and let it dry completely at room temperature.

Are the prints required to be on paper?
Please note that we can only process fingerprints obtained using our Fingerprinting Kit or ink on paper. Unfortunately, we are unable to work with prints made with putty or clay.
