Please note that hair varies greatly in colour, thickness and pigmentation, and this affects how it appears once preserved. Darker hair is typically more visible, whereas very fair, grey or white hair may appear faint or almost transparent when set. This is a natural outcome of the material itself and not a fault in the finished piece.

Some of our designs offer the unique opportunity to include personalised handwriting for the engraving. If you select this option during your order process, we'll send you a link to upload the handwriting sample you wish to include in your piece after receiving your order.

We’ve made it easy to do – just choose the option to include a photograph from the product menu and upload your chosen image. Please note that all photos will be converted to black and white and cropped to square.

If you prefer not to add a photograph, don't worry; your jewellery will still arrive in a lovely Hand on Heart Jewellery gift box.

This design comes with a lifetime no-fade guarantee on all engraving and a 12-month guarantee against any manufacturing defect. This means that in the unlikely event your memorial keepsake experiences a manufacturing defect, we will correct this free of charge.

The collection kit which is used to supply the ashes or hair to our studio will be dispatched within 1 working day of your order being placed. This kit includes a prepaid tracked returns service.

Once your ashes or hair arrive in our Studio, we aim to create and dispatch your order within 21 days. The completed order will be dispatched using a Royal Mail Tracked service which usually takes around 2-3 days for delivery.

We handcraft each cremation ashes resin piece with care. While we strive for perfection, occasional imperfections may occur. If your jewellery falls short of our high standards, we will remake it as a priority at no extra cost. The imperfect piece and any unused ashes will be returned with your order.

If you require your jewellery to be delivered sooner, subject to availabilty, you may be offered a Fast-Track service on selected designs as you check-out. Please see the “Fast-Track Delivery” tab below for further information on this service.

International Delivery - Please note that we only deliver Jewellery made with Ashes to the UK. For orders originating from The Channel Islands, the arrangement and payment for postage to send the ashes to us will need to be handled by you. More details >

Once your ashes or hair arrive in our Studio, we aim to have your order created and delivered within 5 working days. The completed order will be dispatched using a Special Delivery service, which requires a signature upon delivery.

Due to the natural variables influencing our creation process, there may be rare instances where your jewellery needs to be remade. If this occurs, we may be unable to fulfil your order within the quoted 5 working days. In such cases, we will notify you immediately and refund the Fast-Track service fee in full while ensuring your order is completed as soon as possible. If your order includes multiple pieces of jewellery and one requires remaking, we will refund the Fast-Track service fee for the affected item. The completed pieces will be dispatched by the quoted date, and we will prioritise the remake to complete it as soon as possible.

We regret that we are not able to offer a faster delivery service than the quoted 5 working days.

Please be aware that if we receive your ashes within a week of a Bank Holiday, it may cause a delivery delay of 1-2 days. Once we receive the ashes, we will provide you with an accurate delivery date.

International Delivery - Please note that the Fast-Track service is only available in UK Mainland.

Upon receiving your order, we'll promptly send a hair collection pack to you via Royal Mail, labelled with your unique order reference. This pack contains a special tin for you to gently place a small sample of hair. Postage is pre-paid, allowing you to return the pack to us free of charge. To ensure accuracy, all packs are clearly marked for precise order matching, and we return any leftover hair with your completed piece. You can expect regular updates from us throughout this entire process.

Every order from us arrives with comprehensive instructions on how to maintain your jewellery's optimal condition. Key points of these instructions include:

• Always remove your jewellery before it might come in contact with water such as during bathing, exercising, or cleaning.

• Avoid subjecting your jewellery to extended exposure to direct sunlight or UV rays, including those from sunbeds or nail lamps. Be sure to take off your jewellery if you're planning to sunbathe.

• Your keepsake should be stored in its original box, in a cool and dry place, and kept separate from other jewellery items.

For durability and longevity, please frequently inspect all fittings, steer clear of contact with perfumes, lotions, and chemicals, and store your pieces away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. We advise against using liquid cleaning solutions.
