Loren's Nan

Meeko

Made in memory of our fur baby, Meeko — my little shadow who was taken from us so unexpectedly. Now he will always be with me.

Man wearing grey hoodie and birthday badge. He has dark trousers on. He has brown hair and a brown beard, he is sat on grass.

Benjamin

My necklace is in memory of my son, Benjamin, who I sadly lost to suicide on 14/7/20 at the age of 25. Benjamin grew into a wonderful young man — kind, loving, and with a great sense of humour. He was always smiling and never showed his struggles. He is missed every single day.

Mia's Nana

I had my jewellery made in honour of my beautiful nana, Maureen (1937–2022). My nana was my second mum. She protected me, fought for me, and showed me what true unconditional love is. With four children and five grandchildren, she was always busy and put her heart and soul into us. From childcare to doing housework for us out of pure kindness, she was a force to be reckoned with and somewhat of a local legend. Loved by many, she lived a good and happy life. She lost her battle with vascular dementia in June 2022 at 84 years old, and her passing has left a void that nothing will ever fill. This necklace helps me feel like she is always with me and close to my heart. Thank you, Hand on Heart, for the stunning necklace. It truly is a tribute to my nana. I love you, Nana—to the moon, stars, and back again. Good night and God bless. 1937–2022.

Debbie's Dad

My lovely Dad — the absolute best Dad a girl could wish for. My Dad gave me life, was my life, and taught me everything I know. He showed me how to be the strong woman I am today.

When he told me he had been diagnosed with cancer, my world shattered into a million pieces. I have no idea how I drove home that day, but I vowed to stay by his side no matter what. I made that promise to him and became his registered carer. My Dad never complained, never lost his beaming, beautiful smile or his charming personality. He was every nurse’s favourite, and they always gave him extra treats.

My Dad was the strongest man I have ever known. I am so very proud of him and proud to be his daughter. His memory lives on in my three boys, who were his world. I will love you forever and for eternity, Dad. You taught me well and you never let me down.

I will never stop loving you, and now I can carry a little piece of you with me. It won’t be the same, but I want you with me always. 💔💔💔

Jane's Mum

I had a beautiful ring made recently by Donna. I lost my kind gentle mum on Good Friday this year. I found her after coming off a nightshift and I never left her side until she took her final breath 4 days later. She meant the world to me and she lived her life through my family and my 3 brothers. She showed us the good in life in nature and each other and we are truly lost without her. So thank you Donna blue was her favourite colour and her eye colour. Every time I look at the ring I feel I’m looking into her eyes.

Sully

My beautiful stillborn son, Sully. Losing him was truly the most devastating moment of our lives. He had two big brothers who were desperate to meet him, and none of us have ever got over the sadness of that moment. We did go on to have a beautiful daughter, who is amazing and loved by us all, but the hole in my heart will never be fixed.

I wear my HOH green heart ashes ring always, and every time I look at it, I think of my Sully. 💚

Eilidh's Dad

My dad — he was truly my best friend, and we didn’t go a single day without being in contact. He was the one person I could always trust and count on for everything and anything. Sadly, he had a genetic heart condition called ARVD and was waiting for a heart transplant when he caught Covid in hospital. He passed away just a few weeks later, in December 2021, at only 53.

He is such a huge loss in our lives and is thought about every single day.
