Noble
Noble, my dog, had been with me for 10 years through everything. I felt so lost when he passed away at home after a very short battle with lymphoma.

My Grandad Ray, he was a big male figure in my life and he died of cancer in 2016 surrounded by family. He was our everything.

Teddy
I have a heart necklace currently being made which contains my cat’s ash and fur. When he passed, he had just turned 6 years old. I had him since he was 6 weeks old. He was super friendly to everyone who came into the house – he was the first one to greet you. Teddy used to head bump you whenever he wasn’t getting any attention, hated being picked up but loved all the fuss. He received a blood transfusion from his brother over Easter weekend. He also had a bone marrow extraction, which led to the diagnosis of acute myeloid leukaemia, which is rare. Because of Teddy, I am raising awareness of feline blood donors in memory of him.

My lost baby ❤️ I lost a baby just before 12 weeks. This loss really impacted me, as I had recently given birth to twins, so to me this baby was my final baby. The ring I had made with the baby’s ashes is one of my most prized possessions.
Grandad
I had a necklace made in memory of my grandad. He was my best friend and made a huge impact on my life when he left this world. He was the greatest joker around and always made all of his grandchildren laugh. He was lucky enough to become a great-grandad too when my son was born – they had a beautiful bond, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about him. Hand on Heart have made such a huge loss a lot more bearable with my lovely piece.
Max
I got a heart bracelet with my dog Max’s ashes in it. Max was my first dog, and I had always wanted to have a Labrador as a child, but had to wait until I was grown up to get him. For 12 years we shared so many adventures together, and he showed me true love. Saying goodbye to him was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I knew I wanted to get something special to keep him with me. Having my bracelet means he can still be with me on my adventures with my other dogs and remain a part of my life.

Albie
My jewellery was made from my beautiful dog Albie’s ashes. He was my gorgeous six-year-old boy who had seen me through a separation, house move, divorce and numerous life obstacles – without a doubt my best friend. Then I tragically lost him after he became extremely poorly following a routine biopsy. I found Hand on Heart Jewellery quite quickly and just knew I had to have something. My son now points to my necklace and ring when I say “Albie”.

Sulaymaan
My necklace was made with the hand and footprint of my son Sulaymaan, who was born 10 weeks early and fought an 8-week battle against his genetic disease like a little lion. However, he got tired and had to leave for Heaven. My sisters gifted me the necklace a couple of months after his death, and I wear it every single moment.

Dad
My boyfriend bought me a beautiful necklace in memory of my father, who passed away from cancer when I was a teenager. He got this for me for my birthday as a surprise – the best gift I could’ve ever received. I’m so grateful to Donna, who made my Hand on Heart Jewellery with so much care x
