My mum was an amazing lady who cared for her 2 children and her 3 stepchildren. She nursed her husband, who had MS, for over 20 years, staying with him every day for 7 weeks in hospital before he sadly passed away
Mum developed Alzheimer’s and had to go into a care home, where she stayed for 2 1/2 years before passing away quietly in bed. As a family, we were devastated but know that it was the best outcome, as her life was virtually non-existent; each day was like Groundhog Day. We miss you, Mum, and love you forever.
