My lovely Dad — the absolute best Dad a girl could wish for. My Dad gave me life, was my life, and taught me everything I know. He showed me how to be the strong woman I am today.
When he told me he had been diagnosed with cancer, my world shattered into a million pieces. I have no idea how I drove home that day, but I vowed to stay by his side no matter what. I made that promise to him and became his registered carer. My Dad never complained, never lost his beaming, beautiful smile or his charming personality. He was every nurse’s favourite, and they always gave him extra treats.
My Dad was the strongest man I have ever known. I am so very proud of him and proud to be his daughter. His memory lives on in my three boys, who were his world. I will love you forever and for eternity, Dad. You taught me well and you never let me down.
I will never stop loving you, and now I can carry a little piece of you with me. It won’t be the same, but I want you with me always. 💔💔💔
