My stepdad, Andy.
Andy came into my life when I was just 4 years old, and from then on, he was so much more than just a stepdad. He helped raise my 2 siblings and me and played a huge part in shaping the people we have become. He gave me a childhood full of love, laughter and beautiful memories.
In October 2024, we sadly lost Andy, and it absolutely devastated us as a family. Being so young myself (19) and losing someone who was so incredibly important to me was extremely challenging. It also means that Andy will never watch me graduate, get married, or have children of my own - milestones I always imagined he’d be there for.
This is something I’m finding very hard to come to terms with in my grief journey. However, with the help of Hand on Heart Jewellery and the stunning necklace they have created for me, I feel like he’s still with me. I’ll carry him through every milestone, achievement and chapter of my life. He may not be here to see them, but a part of him will always be with me. Andy, we love and miss you more than you will ever know ❤️
