Girl with long light brown hair smiling at camera. She has brown eyes and eyebrows. In the background is a restaurant, colours of blue and red.

I had three rings made using the ashes of our darling daughter, Amelie. She was very sadly diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour at the age of 14. She underwent two rounds of palliative radiotherapy but lost her battle with this cancer 15 months after her diagnosis. She was beautiful, strong and fiercely independent, and it is a terrible tragedy. The rings – for myself (her mum), her younger sister and her Nana – ensure that she is always with us and remind us every day of her spirit and the love we had for her.
