Alfie, I was gifted my black Pawprint Ashes Necklace from all the family for my birthday in memory of my "Laughing-Boy" Schnauzer, Alfie, who we lost very suddenly over Christmas, aged 7.
It was a traumatic shock, and a large part of my heart was ripped away. Thank you so much, Donna, for making such a beautiful piece. Having him back was all I wanted- he can be "Velcroed" close to my heart again forever.
One of Alfie's nicknames was "Velcro" as he loved his cuddles- sitting or laying on your lap the exact second you sat down, sometimes throwing himself back on his back, trusting you to catch him! He never failed to make you laugh and smile, especially with his gobbyness: from squealing the roof down when he saw you park outside the house (all without you even getting through the front door- it amplified at this point!), to wolf-howling with his big sister Dotti, playing together in the garden with their other siblings Pebbles & Bertie or running along Saunton Beach and paddling his paws in the sea.
