How we're
giving back
It's heartbreaking to think that 1 in 29 children suffer the death of a parent or sibling each year. As an adult, navigating grief is one of the most painful journeys we will ever experience so it's not surprising to learn that without intervention, statistics show that bereaved young people can go on to suffer emotional, behaviour, social and academic issues throughout their life.
The support that Grief Encounter offers is essential; from 1:1 councilling, workshops, family days and creative therapies, their clinical team make sure that bereaved children are fully supported professionally.
So far we donated enough money to fund the equivalent of:
100 hours of 1:1 counselling or
192 calls to the grieftalk helpline

As part of our ongoing support, we donated 10% of all profits from Memorial Jewellery in September. This increased our amount donated to over £5,000. Watch behind the scenes as we played tribute to the wonderful work Grief Encounter does to support children
Why Grief Encounter?
As a parent to three children, I'm sure I'm not alone in sharing my fear of them losing a parent at a young age. The realisation that so many children are going through such horrendous trauma every day is absolutely heartbreaking.
As the business has grown, giving back to excellent causes has always been a true motivation to me and my team.
When I met Catherine from Grief Encounter in 2020 and learnt about the work they do, it really struck a chord and I knew we had to do whatever we could to support them.
No-one wants to think of a child going through trauma, but it sadly happens daily and we're so grateful that the wonderful people at Grief Encounter are there to help"
