Launched in 2009 by two sisters, the Hand on Heart Studio is located in a picturesque village near Carlisle, Cumbria. After years of experimenting with pure silver the sisters perfected the technique of transferring images into the silver and started making pieces for family and friends but it wasn't until 2009 that the two decided to make a business from their hobby. Since then, its innovativeness, excellent quality and personal touch has seen Hand on Heart hit the market running with the success of major baby shows around the country and customers experiencing a quality never seen before.  By the end of 2010, the company had gone from strength to strength which resulted in the employment of staff and an extension to the Studio.  

 

2011

In this year, Hand on Heart continued to take the market by storm exhibiting at major baby and dog shows in London, Scotland and Birmingham to name a few as well as becoming headline sponsors for the Cumbria Baby and Toddler show.  With press coverage both locally and nationally, Celebrity commissions and a new gift range, Hand on Heart launched their unique ‘gift boxes’ which provided the perfect product to enable shops to supply the print kits used to create the jewellery.

 

With demand high and orders being processed for both national and international orders, Hand on Heart Jewellery launched it’s highly successful Consultancy Packages in August 2011 which successfully recruited Consultants in Kent and Guernsey in September 2011.  The year ended with a waiting list of four further Consultants due to start training in early 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

It is very important to us that no machines are used in Hand on Hearts finishing process, everything is polished by hand which is the only way to achieve the best results. Most other companies use time (and hand) saving machines which results in a less defined print and 'matt' look on the silver. Hand on Heart jewellery is made to shine and the difference is certainly visible - our finish is one that we are very proud of. So many customers (particularly at shows) comment on how thick our silver pieces are and how the defined the prints are which we hope comes across in our photos too. We are also extremely proud of the writing on our charms especially as so many other companies sadly 'scratch' into the silver. We work tirelessly to bring you new and exciting designs and to keep up to date with current trends (see our Pandora style range!). It is only through our dedication, experience and professionalism that we have been able to develop such innovative techniques to ensure that your piece of jewellery is a very special unique piece.

Customers come first - When you buy from Hand on Heart you can rest assured that you are not only going to receive a beautiful piece of handcrafted jewellery but that you the customer, is going to be put first at all times. 2011 has seen HoH investing in a new up-to-date system which will keep the customer up to date with their orders progress.

We are not a Franchise - We are solely dedicated to our customers and their jewellery, (not franchisees) which means that you know who you are ordering from and can be assured that your piece will be made by one/both of us personally. This way we retain freedom of creativity whilst personally making your piece to your design. Everything you see on our website, promotional produce, facebook page and indeed show samples have been made by ourselves. It took an awful long time, a lot of expense and an unbelievable amount of practice for us to be able to create the excellent standard HoH is known for and we genuinely believe that these skills cannot be 'bought and taught' in a matter of days. Soldering jewellery is a skill in itself which takes an awful lot of training and practice.
